KAY’S KORNER
The year of ROWS that almost wasn't is coming
to an end. This year could not have happened without your small but mighty
board. Never before have I worked with such a dedicated group of ladies.
Pat Rathbun has worked so hard providing our luncheons
and shows.
Beverly Smeltzer works wonders finding members
to serve and getting out our yearbook.
Mary Hawker not only keeps our books in good order,
but also as circulation chairman she addresses, folds and takes 300 newsletters
to the post office every month.
Anne Kraine records our minutes in such a literary
style they should be mandatory reading.
Yvonne Ringhausen always has our correspondence
up to date. Even with a broken arm she wouldn't accept help.
Anna Eidson and Sharron D'Angelo spent hours and
hours sending cards, taking flowers, and visiting our members who were
ill.
Irma Porter always keeps us straight using Robert's
Rules of Order.
Joyce Copes works so hard finding fun trips and
activities, even when she was ill.
Dorthy Cullen and Jeanette Willenbrink have continuously
provided us with gorgeous table decorations.
Katherine Xefteris with smiling exuberance is
there to find seats and help where ever she is needed.
Jean Ford Murphy served as our legislative chairman.
Adriana Grillo has kept updated print outs of
our membership information and monthly prints the hundreds of mailing labels
for our newsletter.
Lillian Campbell has worked tirelessly to get
publicity about ROWS into print.
Lucy Woodall with boundless energy sells us raffle
tickets each month.
Nordie Crews, with sweetness and smiles, has done
a fantastic job taking our reservations and keeping everything running
smoothly. A big thank you to Mary Martin her wonderful helper.
Margaret Delaney remembers our TLC members, with
cards and keeps the board updated.
Gladys Jenkins has given us such wonderful prayers
and stories before our luncheons.
ROSES TO THE LADIES OF MY BOARD FOR BEING SO SUPPORTIVE
AND WONDERFUL. WHENEVER I NEEDED HELP YOU WERE THERE. YOU MADE THIS YEAR
POSSIBLE!
THANK YOU,
Kay Palko
