KAY’S KORNER
The sweetheart luncheon was a beautiful red and
white affair with 79 attendees. One gentleman was very happy escorting
his "three lovely ladies".. Dorothy Cullen and Jeanette Willenbrink
again provided beautiful centerpieces of baby red carnations and white
wax flowers.
Everyone enjoyed many familiar love songs,
sung by Karen Wolfe. They really were by "people we never heard
of". It was a lovely affair, and the view of the water from the Cavalier
dining room is a joy in itself.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Last month the board selected Nordie Crews to
be on the nominating committee. At the luncheon, Doreen Steuteville
and Beverly Smeltzer were approved by the membership to be the other committee
members. Nordie is the Chairman. Please ladies, when you are
called, say yes. Better still, call any one of the ladies and volunteer
for a position on the board.. Last year the nominating committee
called around 80 ladies and could not fill a board of five officers!!
Don't let that happen this year..

The deadline for reservations and getting checks, made out to ROWS,
to Nordie is Friday March 7th. If you wish to be seated as a group,
please mail a list of names of those in the group, along with checks for
each attendee. Tables will be rounds of 10.
Remember that a reservation made
is a reservation paid.
