KAY’S KORNER
Ms. Patterson did it again. Some of the words
used to describe her were: funny, in her Jeff Foxworthy manner; entertaining,
as we laughed at her and ourselves; informative, as we learned how much
our handwriting tells about us; and wonderful. Pat and I both had people
telling us how much fun they had interacting with the program.
The pineapple boats were very very festive and
the chicken salad and fruits very good. The companionship was wonderful.
I am sorry that three zip codes did not receive
their newsletters in time to make a reservation. Our first vice president
did not receive her newsletter until two days after the luncheon. I am
still working on the problem.
Helen Yeager has agreed to be my photographer.
She calls herself, "a photographer in training". Thank you Helen. Your
new yearbooks will arrive soon. A big thank you goes to Beverly Smeltzer
and Adriana Grillo for all their hard work.
We still need a newsletter editor, Historian,
and a Charities chairman. If we have no charities chairman, the board will
review any requests for our donation and bring a recommendation to the
membership. Later this year the board will also discuss omitting the July,
August, and January meetings of ROWS. There will be a lot of things to
think about in order to keep our club going. Suggestions and help are always
welcome.
