KAY’S KORNER
Ladies of ROWS, I can not believe I am back writing
in Kay’s Korner. It is with gratitude I welcome the ladies who came forward
to save our club. I was seriously worried that it would not come
together. I greatly appreciate the many kind thoughts passed on to
me.
Our May luncheon was beautiful, especially the
rose center pieces created by Dorothy Cullen. The attending past
presidents were thrilled to receive the centerpieces. The food was delicious,
and the laughter and fun was the reason I could not let the club disband.
Our $1000.00 donation was presented to VetsHouse.
They were extremely grateful for the donations of money and necessities
that our members brought in.
We do need some more volunteers to become the
following chairmen: CHARITIES, HISTORIAN, LEGISLATION, PHOTOGRAPHER,
AND MOST INPORTANT, NEWSLETTER EDITOR. This is our last newsletter until
some one volunteers. Check pages 48 and 49 of your yearbooks to see
the job descriptions. Call me if you have questions, or will become
one of the missing chairmen. [340-3320]
The second mission of ROWS is to promote fellowship
among our members. Please remember our officers and chairmen are volunteers,
treat them with kindness, offer advice not criticism, and tell them how
much you appreciate the time and effort they give
