Latest From Lillian

Let me first start by thanking Judy Connors for the educational and eye-opening presentation she delivered to us at last week’s  luncheon!  Especially in light of Veteran’s Day, it was a timely tribute to those heroes of our Armed Forces who have sacrificed so much for their country --- and should never be forgotten.  We were honored to have several MOAA members among our guests.

There is no luncheon meeting planned for December, but please note our announcement for the Annual ROWS Christmas Dinner Dance on 12 – 8 - 06 at the Princess Anne Country Club.  The Roger Gray Quintet promises to provide wonderful entertainment for us.

In looking ahead to our next Luncheon Meeting on January 11, 2007 at 11:30 at the Broad Bay Country Club, we have a program coming up that is particularly apropos given the planned reenactment dealing with the European arrival in America right here at our own Chesapeake Bay.  How very exciting!

Also, please note that ROWS information is available to  you through the MOAA website,  www.hrcmoaa.org.

We appreciate your tolerance of the slow delivery of our Newsletter.  Political mailings and catalogs gave the post office an overload.

All of our stellar ROWS Board members and I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday and very best wishes for the Christmas Season and the New Year.

Warm regards,

Lillian Campbell
