KAY’S KORNER
Kay Palko, President

One hundred and sixty ladies joined us for our Spring Fashion Show by Dillards.  Our ROWS models were beautiful, we thank you all: Donna Branson, Rachael Caldwell, Sandie Christensen, Joyce Copes, Martha Cotton, Cynthia Faschini, Ruth Geel, Pat Rathbun, Sally Saunders and Lucy Woodall.  Missing our very competent First Vice-President Sharron, I forgot to thank Laura Kamp from the Temple of Music, for bringing the fantastic BABY GRAND keyboard for our beautiful music; played so well by our very own ROWS. Rachel Bradshaw.  I also want to thank Jean Ford Murphy for a great job as our commentator, and Marian Watson for putting out our lovely decorations made by Sharron D’Angelo.  Thank you all much.

A gold hoop earring was turned in.  Call me if it is yours

The ladies unanimously voted to raise our dues to $18.00.  This years dues are paid up to May 30th.  Then your $18.00 dues will need to be paid.  Hopefully this small raise will cover our dropping numbers and rising cost of mail and other expenses.

A big thank you to Karen Ewing, Mary Hawker, and Margaret Saucier for bringing us a wonderful slate of officers for next year.  Since our present membership chairman will be moving up to First Vice President, the incoming President will immediately need a new membership chairman to replace her.  To keep our club running smoothly, our next president will be looking for many ladies to fill other chairman slots.  Volunteers call: 340-3320.

Start looking for, or working on, your Easter Bonnets for the April luncheon.  Also next month we will be voting for our new officers and for the charities recommended by the board.

   COME-----JOIN IN-----HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!
