KAY’S KORNER
Kay Palko, President

Since my last column we have had a beautiful Christmas Dance,  started a new year, and enjoyed a fun luncheon at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort.

It was especially nice since we had three new members.  It was a delight to welcome Sandy Christiansen, Cynthia Faschini, and Mary Craig.  We had six Birthday Girls:  Shirley Hollandsworth, Jane Hart, Mary Craig, Janet Baer, Eleanor Crawford, and Evelyn Salop.  If you are a February Birthday Girl, be sure and sign up as you pay for your luncheon.  Please put down the day and the year.  I promise I won’t tell how old you are, but the youngest and the oldest will get the roses.

I have been asked to address a growing problem.  Even though the business part of our meetings is usually no longer than 10 to 15 minutes some ladies are leaving in the middle.  This is disruptive to the members who are trying to hear, and extremely rude to the speaker.  This is not aimed at the ladies who need a bathroom trip.  We would appreciate our members and guests stay with us until the meeting is adjourned.

Next month we hope to see you.  And remember husbands, friends, and lovers are welcome.
