PRICE: $16.00
PROGRAM: An elegant Program presented by Janet’s Fashions & Interiors of Thoroughgood Commons is a treat not to miss.  Ms. Janet Woods has been a friend to ROWS for many years and hopes that many of you will make plans to attend her show and see the great selection of clothing modeled by our very  own ROWS members.
RESERVATIONS: Mail checks to Nordleen Crews, made out to ROWS, 1125 Spindle Crossing, Virginia Beach, VA 23455, tel. 363-1094.  Tables will be set for eight  and you may reserve  an entire table with checks  enclosed  in one envelope.  Please be helpful by collecting your own table, otherwise you will be seated as the checks arrive.  Guests are welcome.
DEADLINE: Monday,  October 10th.  You may have to hand deliver your checks if Nordie cannot  receive them by this date in the mail.

     By now you all must have received your new yearbooks that went out last week.  Thank you Beverly Smeltzer for a job well done, and thank you Mary Hawker for getting them all to the post office.

     The luncheon at the Botanical Gardens was delicious.  With everything going on in the world it was the perfect day to talk to friends, ride through the gardens, and to stop and smell the roses.

     Our September birthday girls were Vange Desjardins and Kay Xefteris.

     We are getting new members from our write up in the Beacon.  Please make them feel welcome.

     Now that summer is over I hope we will be seeing more of our members at the luncheons.

     I will be looking forward to seeing you all at the fashion show next month. Get your checks in early.
