Our speaker for the September luncheon, Christine
Roebuck, presented us with
information on five types of identity theft.

Plan ahead! I am talking about the Christmas
dinner dance on December 7th. Last year Lillian Campbell brought
her son and daughter. I, and my table mates, found it delightful
talking to the “youngsters”. Maybe some of our single ladies have
grown children who would like to share a night out with their mom. ROWS
members should think of their single friends and invite them to come with
you, then everyone can enjoy a wonderful evening of dining, music,
and friendship. This may be the last year there will be a Christmas
dinner dance.
Last month I thanked Beverely Smeltzer and
Adriana Grillo for getting the Year book out. I forgot to thank
our hardworking circulation chairman, Mary Hawker, who not only got all
the yearbooks addressed and to the post office, but does it monthly for
the Newsletter. Mary is also our Treasurer. Very Special thanks go
to Mary for all the time and effort she gives to the club.
I found a pair of sunglasses at the last luncheon.
I think some one from the back, left, table forgot them. Call me
