Latest From Lillian

How wonderful it was to see such a full house at our last luncheon.  Thanks to everyone who helped make the event so enjoyable.

Special thanks to Tabetha Dennis and Mary Trible from Talbot’s for their dedicated support in putting on a splendid show.  Also, special recognition goes to our very own elegant ROW’S models who glided down the runway at Princess Anne Country Club wearing Talbot’s latest designs.  Our models were: Rachel Caldwell, Ruth Geel, Anne Meek Kraine, Roberta Lemburg, Jane Sautter, and Sally Saunders.

Lucy Woodal and Pat Hoffman offered a helping hand in the dressing room.
It all came together nicely with Jane Brown’s popular tunes on the piano, and Tidewater Collection’s wonderful gift ideas for the holidays and beyond was a most welcome addition.  Many thanks to Stacy O’Bryon for bringing us the TC ladies as well as several TOSA members. (All of them are spouses of active Naval Officers.)

Last, but not least, the decorations were absolutely lovely for this time of year and the food was delicious.  Darlene Nelson and Judy Connors deserve praise for all the planning that was involved.  Let’s give everyone a round of applause for making ROW’S Fall Fashion Show Luncheon such a success.

With Veteran’s Day coming up next month, when we honor all men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces, we have scheduled a talk on Andersonville – a memorial site of special interest, for our next luncheon, which will be presented by our very own Judy Connors.  The luncheon will take place at Ramada Plaza Resort on Nov. 9 at 11:30 a.m.

Please note that from now on our Newsletter will highlight upcoming ROWS events in order to give you a chance to make timely reservations.  This should help alleviate concerns when the Newsletter arrives late.
